British Royal Wedding in 3D?
Next year’s British Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton could be televised in 3D.
That is a proposal from BSkyB, the satellite broadcaster owned by Rupert Murdoch.
The concept is to broadcast to British cinemas and 3D TV homes. Already Sky has broadcasted sports, concerts, and operas on their 3D channel.
The idea has received mixed reviews, but discussions with Clarence House and Buckingham Palace have not yet begun.
The wedding on the 29th of April is being described in the media as one of the biggest historical events of the next decade.
Personally, 3D or not doesn’t bother me.
I remember watching Prince Charles’ and Diana’s wedding and I fell asleep pretty quickly.
