Avatar Director’s Advice for BP Ignored
Recently a team of 20 experts was put together to come up with an idea to stop the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
The team not only included scientists and engineers, but also James Cameron, the director of “Avatar” (2009), “Titanic” (1997), “The Abyss” (1989), “Aliens” (1986), and “The Terminator” (1984).
Cameron is considered an expert on remote vehicle technologies and under water filming.
But his advice was ignored by BP and apparently that left Cameron not so happy.
He was dropped from the team.
