Ken Watanabe Committed to Long-Term Support
Hi everyone, recently Ken Watanabe announced his long-term support for the victims of the Tohoku earthquake on March 11th.
He recently visited evacuation centres in Onagawa, Ayukawa, and Ishinomaki in Miyagi prefecture.
He was affected by the scenes of destruction and moved by the positive energy the locals have in the wake of the disaster.
Watanabe helped set up an on-line message project titled “Kizuna 311”.
Actors and actresses, including Clint Eastwood have uploaded messages and videos to show support for the victims. Celebrities have a lot of power with the media we have today and can help gain support for those that need it.
